5/29/24 – This is an original and good-condition Hungarian short sword from WW1. This Short sword comes with an original scabbard and frog. The scabbard is free from any dents or deformities, but the retains none of its original finish. The frog is in very good condition, considering its age and the fact that this is a fairly heavy piece at 3 lbs and 3 ounces. The blade is clean, with a bit of light patina and very light sharpening on the edge. Ricasso is maker marked. Crossguard has a dark discoloration. Grips have no issues but looked to have been personalized at some point.
