10/17/23 – This is an extremely rare, WW2 production M1 Garand bayonet by Wilde Tool. This is by far the hardest-to-find maker of M1 bayonets from WW2, and highly sought after by collectors. This example is uncut, full sized with a 16 inch blade. The blade retains most of the original finish, is unsharpened and in excellent overall condition. The base of the blade is maker stamped, dated, and ordnance stamped (although the ordnance stamp is faint and only the upper “smoke” portion of the stamp is visible). The hand guard has patina throughout but no excessive wear. The black plastic handles excellent. Comes with an original US scabbard.
