9/7/22 – This is a rare Webley & Scott Mark I that was part of a Naval contract in the lead up to WWI. The pistol is matching and original but only has about 20% of the original blue remaining, mostly on the sides of the frame. The listing is accompanied by a letter from UK arms research stating this pistol was shipped to the Director of Navy Contracts in London on August 30th, 1913. One of only 8,000 produced, serial range of 1-8,000. The original grips are present and in good shape with no notable defects. Original magazine shows similar finish wear. Bore is shiny with strong rifling but some frost in the grooves.
