1/11/22 – This is an excellent example of a rare “W-suffix” Walther PPK manufactured in 1939. It is all matching and has the proper “Crown N” proofs. It comes as a rig with a proper Walther banner-only magazine and a fairly worn un-marked holster (light surface cracking in the leather throughout). The closure strap has torn off but is included with the gun. The gun has retained about 94-95% of its original finish. There is wear around the muzzle and some spotty wear on the right side of the slide. While there isn’t a ton of actual finish loss, there are some areas of splotchy discoloration on the right side of the frame. Comes with a period-correct brown grip – there is a hairline crack in the spine, a tiny crack around the left screw hole, and a small chip on the right side. The bore is near-mint – shiny with very strong rifling and a few very small areas of minor freckling.
