3/6/20 – This is an ultra rare Walther PP variant that was issued to the Railway Police, or ‘Reichsbahn Politzei’. The characteristics to identify this variation include the 1940 date on the left side of the slide, as well as the matching numbered magazine and the matching font styles between the slide date and the slide serial number on the other side. There were only 100-200 produced. This one retains 80% high-polish blue, with minor high edge wear, but thinning throughout the straps. The pistol also comes with a rare holster that is also railway marked internally. Terrific bore and grips. Excellent finger extension magazine. A very seldom seen variation, and this one is also in the proper known serial range.
