Description

10/29/24 – This is a scarce Navy 1934 Mauser. It is a variation 2 Navy 1934 with a closed wing eagle on the right side of the frame with an “O.3648” property mark on the front strap. There were only an estimated 3,000 of this variation procured. There is a milled area of the slide that is marked “Politi NR 4736”, indicating it ended up with the Norwegian Police. There is some sort of unit number at the front left of the slide. It comes as a rig with two Mauser marked magazine and a minty tan leather Navy-style holster with an “Eagle M” stamp on the back. The gun has retained about 94% of its original high polish finish – general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and an area of wear on the front strap. Excellent wood grip. Minty bore.
