3/3/22 – This is an extremely rare Air Force Premium Grade National Match rifle with all the correct NM marked parts. These were made to beyond regular national match specs and were hyper accurate , made to shoot 3″ groups at 600 yds. The rifle is still in its original configuration. These had ball detent 1/4 MOA rear windage sights, screwed in middle bands, glass beaded stocks, and polished and lapped contact areas like the bolt lugs, barrel sides and trigger sear. The trigger pull is fantastic. It still has the original DoD stamp on the bayonet lug as well. The stocks were varnished to prevent moisture from being absorbed to change the fit of the stock. Stock is dated 1-67 with the last 4 digits of the serial number. Receiver is in the 5.9 million range with an SA 1963 barrel. These were the elite of all service national match rifles and are rarely offered.
