9/20/23 – This is a rare military 1911, made in 1911 at Springfield Armory. One of only ~30k produced at Springfield for WW1. Almost all original with proper ‘S’ on small smarts as shown in photos, but none on the mainspring housing. Barrel is marked with only an ‘S’ on side of lug. The original blue rates at around 60% with wear throughout but most pronounced on the grip straps. Minty bore. Nice wood grips with no cracks. Early WW1-era mag with two-tone finish and lanyard ring.
