06/13/2024 – For sale is a Springfield 1903 rifle paired with a 1944 Springfield barrel with a Warner & Swasey Model of 1913 telescopic musket sight installed. The rifle is overall in great condition. The metal parts have a nice parkerized finish without much finish loss. The stock is clean without any cracks or breaks. The left side of the stock is stamped “OG” in a box, and S.S. at the buttplate. The bottom has a P stamp but there is remnants of an old Circle P below it. The Warner & Swasey scope is in good condition overall with the majority of the enamel paint still applied. The rubber eyecup is also not dried out and still somewhat flexible. The lens has a very heavy yellow tint and the crosshair has rotated so it’s no longer upright. The package also comes with the scope case which is also in overall great condition for its age.
