5/5/23 – This is a rare Simson Luger, manufactured in the 1920’s. It is matching except for the toggle pin and has the proper “Eagle 6” Simson proofs throughout, even on the screws. The gun itself has retained about 90-92% of its finish. There are areas of wear around the muzzle, along the left side of the barrel, on the side rails, and on the side plate. Some light scratching on the front strap. There is spotty oxidation throughout and brown patina on the grip straps. Modified front sight blade. Fitted with nice, matching-numbered wood grips and comes with a mismatched magazine. The rifling in the bore is slightly worn with pin-pricking throughout.
