3/17/22 – This is an excellent example of a rare Sauer Behorden pistol. This is a Sauer Model 1913 issued to the Nazi-era Prussian State Police. This is evidenced by the “Starburst K” marking on the web of the trigger guard. This was the last iteration of this pistol before they switched over to the 38h. They were marketed to and almost exclusively sold to Nazi-era police organizations. They had added safety features, such as the additional trigger safety, making them appealing for police. Very few of these guns were produced. This particular gun is all matching and comes as a rig with an excellent 1933-dated police holster and two period-correct magazines. It has retained about 97% of its original finish. Most of the wear is around the muzzle. There is some very minor freckling on the grip straps. Comes with excellent period-correct black bakelite grips. Mint bore.
