7/14/23 – This is an original late WW2 production, rare hard shell style P.38 holster. The holster is stamped on the back leather with a RBNr. code, which reportedly corresponds to Hans Beuter Koffer-Rucksack (known as bmo) and 1944 production. Late war hard shell holsters are very rare as the Germans switched to soft shell style in 1943. This example is in great condition with normal pliability and some mild surface wear on the exterior leather. There’s light scratches and wrinkling but no major issues. The stitching is all tight, original, and intact. The back leather is also waffen proof stamped and P.38 stamped.
