2/27/24 – This is an extremely rare WW2 Parachutist M2 spring-assisted knife. The knife is the “pruning style” that the US military experimented with as this style / shape of blade was thought to be more efficient for cutting a jumper loose from their parachute. The idea didn’t catch on, and the result is only a few hundred of these ever being produced. The blade is sharp and excellent with no signs of sharpening and very minimal amount of wear. The spring / mechanism is strong and fully functional. A very cool piece of US military history.
