3/22/24 – This is a rare Sauer Behorden pistol. This is a Sauer Model 1913 issued to the Nazi-era Prussian State Police. This is evidenced by the “Star K” police marking on the left side of the trigger guard. This was the last iteration of this pistol before they switched over to the 38h. They were marketed to and almost exclusively sold to Nazi-era police organizations. They had added safety features, such as the additional trigger safety, making them appealing for police. Very few of these guns were produced. This one is all matching and comes with an un-issued 1940-dated police holster and one proper magazine. The gun’s original high polish bluing rates about 90% with general high edge wear and some light spotty brown patina on the grip straps. Fitted with excellent black bakelite grips. Mint bore.
