06/07/2024 – For sale is a scarce Podolsk SVT-40 made in 1941. The Podolsk Arsenal made under 8% of total production of the SVT-40. (111,659 of 1.45 million). The rifle has undergone post-war Soviet refurbishment. The metal has the typical dark blued finish on the metal and in great condition. The bolt has a reddish plum finish from the refurbishment. The rifle is matching on the receiver, forcematched on the bolt, bolt carrier, and trigger guard. The stock is mismatched but the stock is an AVT-40 stock. The bore is bright but does get a little darker towards the muzzle. The rifle comes with a reproduction magazine.
