2/13/24 – This is a rare Colt Model 1903 that was issued to the U.S. military in 1944. One of 6,000 issued, this one is in minty condition with just a tiny hint of high edge wear. Frame is U.S. Property marked and there’s a crossed cannons cartouche on the left side of the frame. British proofs are visible on the slide and barrel, potentially indicating this one was part of the lend-lease program. Minty grips and bore. Listing comes with a spare magazine, and box which is matching with hand-serialized numbering on the bottom.
