2/22/23 – This is an original and complete example of a rare FN Browning Hi Power in mint condition. The pistol features the Omani crest on the slide, with only 36 such examples produced. The first 9 were roll marked with the incorrect crest, and this represents one of the latter group of 27 with correct crest. A photo from Vanderlinden’s book on FN Pistols (page 348 of the second edition of his book) is included in the listing with full explanation of the history of these pistols. The gun itself is in mint condition with a minty bore, black plastic grips and lanyard ring installed. It features a tangent rear sight, and a stock slot in the frame. The listing also includes a holster/stock combo, though these may have been added later and not part of the original production. This example does feature the C proof on the attachment piece and GC marking on the wood.
