7/14/23 – This is an original dropping style holster for a Luftwaffe issued Walther PPK pistol. The holster is in very good overall condition with an added uniform pin stuck to the front leather, as shown. The leather has some surface wrinkling, mostly around the top leather, and mild cracking on the closure strap. The back belt loop has a name lightly scratched into the leather. Normal pliability. The stitching is all original with 1-2 missing stitches on the back leather, but this is a very minor takeaway. Most importantly, the interior leather shows a designation ink stamp for the Walther PPK pistol. This is faint, but still legible under proper lighting. A rare variation holster, known as a type 2 dropping style for a Luftwaffe PPK.
