6/14/23 – This is a rare Ithaca 1911A1 from late in 1943 that was issued to the O.S.S. It is recorded by serial number on the O.S.S. manifest of pistols shipped on January 3rd of 1944. The pistol has Ithaca frame and slide with proper HS barrel, but the gun has been re-parkerized. Bore has strong rifling but some frost in the grooves. Excellent grips. Magazine marked with ‘S’ on toe.
