11/10/22 – This is a rare example of an early Chinese contract Inglis High Power with stock. One of the few remaining survivors of the first shipment, this very early pistol is the 1,715th produced for WW2. Originally, the ‘ch’ prefix was used in all serial numbers as it was believed all Inglis High Powers would be getting shipped to China. This one has the correct type 1 slide legend, which reads “National Property of the Republic of China”. The pistol is all matching and original, and in good condition overall. The finish on this one is difficult to rate, but the most pronounced thinning is on the right side of the frame. Excellent bore and very nice grips with minor handling wear on each panel. Correct JI-marked magazine. Comes with an original Inglis stock that is in excellent condition and 1945 dated.
