2/15/23 – This is a rare and original Harrington & Richardson MC-58 that was produced for the U.S. Marines for training purposes. There were only 3,500 of these produced, all in 1958 & ’59. The MC-58 was intended as a small caliber training counterpart for the M14 rifle, adapting the H&R Model 65 Reising with an appropriate stock and set of Redfield sights. This one is in terrific, original condition with just a few minor scuffs along the top of the barrel and some oxidation on the trigger guard. The stock is also in excellent condition with no notable defects, and a crisp DoD eagle stamp on the wrist. Mint bore.
