3/13/20 – This is a rare, first year FN Browning Model 1905 variation with ‘DEPOSE’ patent marking in the white. These markings were added after the pistol was finished, as production had started before the Belgian government granted the patent to FN. The slide was then hand marked with ‘DEPOSE’ marking. The pistol is all original and correct with 98% blue remaining. There’s an area of finish loss near the serrations on the left side of the slide, but it’s near-mint otherwise. Minty bore and excellent grips. The pistol is pictured in Vanderlinden’s second edition of FN Browning Pistols on page 202 and will be shown in the upcoming third edition.
