5/14/21 – This is a gorgeous and scarce Mauser C96 Broomhandle with rare “Von Lengerke and Detmold, New York” inscription on the left side of the frame – a company that was the sole distributor of the C96 Mauser in US at that time. The pistol is all matching and original, including the magazine follower and floorplate, and even has the original, matching grips! The pistol is in just fantastic condition, with just tiny hints of high edge wear, most noticeable on the front of the magazine well. Gorgeous fire blue remains on the small parts. Strong, shiny bore. Serial dates the gun to 1904, and it’s one of the finest, early examples we’ve encountered. Also comes with a stripper clip.
