6/21/23 – This is an absolutely fantastic example of a rare BSA Long-Lee Enfield rifle from the early 1900s. The bluing is gorgeous with only minor wear and patina on the mag and trigger guard. Minty bore. Terrific wood furniture aside from a surface crack on the upper wrist. Still has the original sighting wheel, with BSA diopter sight intact. Brass buttplate is marked ‘TESTED BY BLANCH & SON LONDON’ along the top and has a trapdoor. Receiver is marked ‘FOR CORDITE ONLY’. Barrel marked ‘MORRIS TUBE CO. LONDON’. Bolt and receiver serial numbers do not match. Comes with after-market sling.
