7/25/23 – This is a rare police-issued Mauser Banner Luger from 1941. One of about 6,000 produced with 1941 date and Eagle/L inspector’s mark, this one comes with two matching numbered magazines. Both mags are Eagle/C stamped, but the ‘1’ mag has an overstamp in the first ‘3’ on the base. The pistol has matching numbers throughout, including the original grips. Excellent blue, with most of the finish loss found on the right side of the receiver. Minor additional wear on sideplate and muzzle. Minty bore. Excellent grips with no chips.
