4/11/24 – The Hungarian M52 is a direct copy of the original Soviet Model 1891/30 sniper rifle. The most identifying feature is the “02” stamped on nearly every part, which is the Communist Bloc code for Hungary. This one was manufactured in 1953, all matching, and has no import marks. It is equipped with an excellent 1962 dated scope – clear optics. It comes with leather eye caps, a canvas scope cover, a canvas sling, leather ammo pouches, a tool kit, and a bayonet with leather scabbard. The bayo is also “02” marked. It has retained most of its bluing with minor high edge wear. Excellent wood stock. Mint bore.
