8/16/24 – This is an excellent example of a very rare “Zero Series” Walther P.38, manufactured in 1945. They are called a zero series because the serial numbers start with a zero. Only 1,750 of these were produced according to Whittington’s book. This one is all matching and has “Eagle 359” military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 97% of its original finish with just very minor high edge wear, some light surface scratching on the right side of the slide, and areas of light freckling here and there. Fitted with reddish bakelite grips and comes with a rare, end-of-war, “U” marked magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
