3/6/23 – This is an excellent example of a rare DWM Model 1908 Navy Luger issued to the Imperial German Navy during WW1. It is all matching and has the proper “Crown M” Navy proofs. No chamber date. There is also a “W.K. 9726” Navy unit marking on the back strap. The gun itself has retained about 97% of its original finish. There is just minor wear around the muzzle and some very minor wear around some of the high edges. An area of minor pitting on the side plate. Some very light spotty oxidation along the left side of the barrel. Fitted with very nice matching-numbered wood grips – an area of bruising on the right side. Comes with a mismatched but period-correct Navy magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is fouling and pin-pricking throughout. The hold-open does not work properly with this magazine.
