5/15/24 – This is a rare P.38 put together from parts at the end of WW2. The slide was made by Mauser, “BYF 44” marked and “Waffen 135” proofed. Barrel was also made by Mauser and “Waffen 135” proofed as well. The frame was made by Walther and is “ac” marked and “Eagle 359” proofed. The gun has no serial numbers. This is a rare variation and made even rarer with its original blued finish. There is almost no actual finish loss. There is some discoloration on the top plate (typical) and a few tiny casting flaws on the right side of the frame (typical). Fitted with blackish-brown bakelite grips and comes with a Waffen 706 jvd magazine. Stone-mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
