6/23/22 – This is a hard-to-find DWM Luger that was made in 1912 and issued to the German military. The 1912 dated DWM Lugers are actually the most rare date for DWM production, with fewer than 10,000 produced. It correctly has no stock lug, and had a hold open added later. It has retained roughly 80% of its finish. There is noticeable spotty, scratchy wear throughout, concentrated mostly on the grip straps, around the high edges in general, and around the muzzle. Areas of pin-pricking throughout and some areas of pitting here and there, most noticeable around the muzzle, along the barrel, along the right side rail, on the chamber, and on the grip straps. Comes with slightly worn matching-numbered wood grips – tiny chip near the safety lever. Also comes with a mismatched wood-bottom magazine. The rifling in the bore is a little worn with pin-pricking throughout.
