3/2/23 – This is a rare DWM model 1900 luger with American Eagle crest on the chamber. This is the first production model of this variation, made in or around 1900 with early dish toggle. These pistols went to the US retail market and the manufacturers at DWM realized that nation-based crests increased sales of these lugers, so that is why you find the American Eagle over the chamber. This is also why you see GERMANY marked on the frame, denoting these were exported for commercial sale. This one is all matching and has retained roughly 70% of its original. The vast majority of the finish loss is on the front strap. Areas of spotty wear on the left side of the frame and on the back strap. Minor wear around the muzzle, along the left side of the barrel, on the side plate, and on the side rails. Fitted with nice matching-numbered wood grips – some minor bruising on the right side. Comes with a proper blank wood-bottom magazine. The rifling in the bore is just slightly worn with minor frosting throughout.
