10/2/20 – This is a rare DWM 1906 Swiss Luger rig. The rig comes with a rarely-seen 1921-dated holster and a period-correct Swiss magazine. The gun has a Swiss “Sunburst” Cross on the chamber and a “Cross over V” control proof on the left side of the receiver. Most of these guns were stamped with the letter “P” and the release date when they were released from the Swiss Military. The “P” release proof was never added to this gun, which is rarely observed. Swiss cross on most of the parts. The gun is all matching and has retained about 97% of its bluing. There is very minor wear on the front edges of the frame and on the side plate. There is one small area of wear/discoloration on the front strap. There is minor freckling on both straps. The grips are minty but are covered in blueish-green residue from the holster. It will clean off easily. The bore is near-mint.
