3/26/24 – This is a nice example of a rare Walther Mod P.38 sold in the commercial market during WW2. This one is all matching and has the proper “Eagle N” proofs. This gun is rare as only 1,800 were produced. It has retained roughly 75% of its finish with obvious thinning along both sides of the slide, general high edge wear, and minor muzzle wear. Slight plum-colored frame. Fitted with period-correct reddish bakelite grips and comes with an “Eagle 359” marked Walther magazine. Excellent bore. De-cocker is functional.
