4/24/24 – This is a nice example of a rare Walther Mod HP sold in the commercial market in the late 1940’s. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle N” proofs throughout. It has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. The bluing on the frame and slide has a really nice plum color. There is general high edge / muzzle wear and thinning on the frame and slide. Fitted with excellent reddish bakelite grips. Comes with a military marked magazine. The bore has good rifling with noticeable pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
