9/21/23 – This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1905, chambered in .45 ACP. From the serial, it was manufactured in 1911. One of only about 6,000 produced. It is all matching and has British export proofs on the right side of the gun. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its finish. There are areas of light scratchy wear on the grip straps, around the muzzle, and at the back right of the slide. Tiny scratches and areas of light spotty oxidation and pin-pricking throughout. Fitted with very nice wood grips – tiny crack around the bottom right screw. Comes with one proper magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is tiny pitting throughout.
