3/2/22 – This is an excellent and rare Colt M1903 that was issued to the U.S. Army during World War II. Only ~10,000 such examples were issued to the U.S. military branches, with about 7,000 going to the Army. This one is in excellent condition but may have been re-parkerized. We can’t say with 100% certainty but the Colt logo and crossed cannons cartouche are now faint. The parkerized finish is in excellent condition with only minor thinning, and the pistol does have a minty bore so it doesn’t appear it was used much. Excellent grips with sharp checkering. Mag is marked ‘CAL .32 COLT’ on the base. Listing includes a period unmarked holster.
