3/1/2023 – This is a Chinese copy of the rare 1930’s Mauser Broomhandle model C-96 with detachable magazine. Chambered in 9mm, with a 5′ barrel, this example includes one 10 round mag and one extended 20 round. Similar style to the Mauser 712 “Schnellfeuer,” but in semi-auto. It has nearly all of it’s original blued finish, but does have some light surface scratches on the side of the barrel and rail. There is also oxidation and freckling on both sides of the receiver. The bore has strong rifling, with just a little frost in the grooves. Aside from a few scuffs, the grooved walnut grips are in excellent condition. Features a long range rear tangent sight and lanyard ring. Chinese characters on left side of frame and logo on right. Rear grip strap is stamped “China”. Matching serial numbers on slide and both magazines. Includes original box, instructions, and foam insert.
