11/10/22 – This is a nice of a rare Steyr Hahn Model 1911 delivered to the Chilean government in 1912. It is all matching, has the proper Chilean proofs throughout, and has the Chilean property seal on the left side of the slide. It has retained about 85% of its finish. The majority of the bluing loss is on the front strap, where the wear is spotty. There is also minor wear around the high edges in general and some tiny dings along the underside of the frame. There is splotchy discoloration along both sides of the frame that appears to be dried grease from when it was stored. Comes with fairly worn wood grips – Tiny dings, bruises, and chips on both. The bore has good rifling with very minor pin-pricking throughout.
