6/9/22 – This is a rare Beretta M1935 that was made in 1936 and issued to the Royal Italian Air Force. One of 8,000 produced, it is a first version example with the early inspector marks (TP). It has retained roughly 65% of its original high polish finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps, where there is also pin-pricking and spotty oxidation. Minor wear around the muzzle and high edges in general. Small spots of discoloration on both sides of the frame, most noticeable on the left side. Comes with nice period-correct black bakelite grips and a proper magazine. The rifling in the bore is worn with noticeable pitting throughout.
