12/26/19 – This is a terrific example of a rare Mauser Luger that was produced in 1940 and issued to the German Navy (Nortsee property). There were only 2,000 of this variation produced with 1940 chamber date and ’42’ factory code on toggle. The pistol is all matching, including the grips and one of the original magazines. It has 95-96% of the original blue with areas of wear on the sideplate, left side muzzle and bottom of the front strap. Pistol has sharp property number marking on rear strap, and that same marking is on the magazine base. Excellent grips, with just a tiny chip under the safety. Bore shows minor use but in great condition overall. The pistol comes with a rare Kriegsmarine marked holster, which is 1939 dated and WaA100 proofed. It is in very good condition aside from some missing stitches in the top flap. Original Eagle/655 proofed tool is included.
