12/13/22 – This is a scarce variation Nazi army issued Mauser model 1934. This gun would have been produced just before the factory switched over to HSC production, around 1940-1941. The pistol is proofed on the back left side of the frame with Eagle/655 and a test-fire eagle stamp. There were only about 8,000 of these pistols issued in this way. It is all matching and has retained about 80-85% of its original high polish finish. Visible wear on both sides of the slide, and a spot of wear on the trigger guard and front strap. Also small areas of pitting on the left side of the slide. Comes with an excellent period-correct wood grip and one proper magazine. Strong, shiny bore.
