5/29/24 – This is a rare A.F. Stoeger marked Luger in excellent, original condition. These Luger pistols were manufactured in Germany during the 1930s by Mauser, after recently taking over production of Luger pistols from DWM, for Stoeger Arms Corporation to be sold in the U.S. Several different barrel lengths were offered in either 9mm or 7.65mm, and the quantity acquired by Stoeger was rather low, making this Luger a scarce variation. This particular pistol is in .30 Luger with 4-inch barrel. This example is marked with the “American Eagle” stamp on the chamber and “DWM” on the toggle. It is all matching and has the proper “Crown N” proofs. The back of the frame is GERMANY export marked. The right side of the slide is marked A.F. STOEGER INC/NEW YORK. It is in beautiful condition, retaining nearly all of its finish. Minty un-numbered wood grips. Comes with a proper “Germany” marked commercial magazine. Mint bore.
