5/12/20 – This is a super rare Walther PP rig that was part of a Luftwaffe contract order, and comes with spare magazine and rare dropping style holster. The pistol is one of only 1,500 produced in 9mm Kurz, with waffenamts on frame and slide, as well as high-polish blued finish. The pistol is all original but does show notable thinning on the straps, and a considerable patch of finish loss on either side of the muzzle. The Luftwaffe contract guns were also issued with two matching numbered magazines. This rig has one mismatched magazine, and one unnumbered example. The mismatched example is only about 200 digits off. Both are original and correct 9mm magazines though. Excellent grips and bore. The rig is completed by the rare dropping style holster with faint internal inkstamp. The holster has come cracking along the outer flap and belt loop, but stitching is intact and the leather is firm.
