4/7/21 – This is an uncommon 1944 dated hardshell style P.38 holster. Most 1944 P.38 holsters are found in softshell style, and hardshell holsters are typically worn. This holster shows mild wear throughout and has very pliable leather showing sings of clear use. The leather is still in tact as is the stitching. The back leather is a lighter brown color, likely because a lot of these holsters were made from scrap leather. Maker stamped “ndk” and “44” dated with a waffen military proof.
