9/20/17 – This is an original WW2 production, late war P.38 holster. The holster is very rare due to the hardshell style and 1944 date. Usually 1944 holsters were softshell style. The holster leather is pliable and soft, but has nice shape and an authentic overall feel. The stitching is excellent and all original. The back of the holster has crisp stamps and clearly shows it’s a WW2 military holster. The interior leather is clean. A very nice, hard to find piece in an exceptional condition given most of these were made cheaply and fell apart at the end of the war.
