1/12/24 – This is an excellent condition canvas K98 action cover from WW2. These were used in winter / rainy conditions so the troops could keep their rifles clean and running smoothly. This example has excellent, clean olive green canvas throughout and all original straw colored stitching. The interior edge is felt lined on one end to prevent from damaging the rifle finish. The other end has leather that’s in great condition. Maker stamped, waffen proofed, and 1941 dated on the interior. All straps and knobs are intact and original. Fits very nicely onto a K98 (not too tight like other examples).
