1/12/23 – This is a nice example of a rare Mauser Luger issued to the Kriegsmarine in 1940. The gun is all matching and has a “N 3916” Navy property marking on the back strap. This variation is rare, as only about 6,000 were ever produced. This one has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the grip straps. There is minor wear around the muzzle and on the side rails. Light spotty wear on the side plate. A light streak of wear on the left side of the barrel. Fitted with un-numbered wood grips – they are in minty condition, but there is a small chip in the upper corner of the left panel. Comes with a blank-bottom magazine. The bore has strong rifling, but there is light freckling throughout.
