8/12/21 – This is a rare Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi police force in 1939. It is all matching, has the Mauser Banner logo on the toggle, an added police sear safety, and a rare police “Eagle C” marking on the slide. It has retained roughly 65-70% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the straps, side plate, and side rails, There are areas of spotty textured oxidation throughout, heaviest on the straps. There are areas of pitting on the straps, side plate, and left side of the frame. Comes with un-marked grips with minor bruising throughout. Also comes with a matching magazine. The bore has strong rifling with very minor freckling in the grooves. The slide has trouble locking back – likely just the magazine.
