3/15/22 – This is a rare and complete Navy Mauser Luger rig from 1938 with one of the original, matching magazines. One of only ~6,000 produced in total with property mark on frame, and one of only 2,400 with 1938 chamber date. The pistol is all matching and original, with maybe 85-90% of the original blue remaining. There’s standard high edge wear from the holster, but this one is difficult to rate as the grip straps just show some general dulling. Comes with the original matching grips and one of the matching magazines. The listing also includes a spare, original Navy-marked magazine. The pistol’s bore has strong rifling with a little frost throughout. The rig is completed by a rare Kriegsmarine holster with sharp Navy eagle marking and 1939 date.
