7/31/20 – This is a very nice example of a scarce and complete Kriegsmarine Mauser Luger rig, which includes Navy marked holster and one of the original, matching magazines. There were only 2,400 Navy Mauser Lugers produced in 1938, and there were only about 6,000 Kriegsmarine Mauser Lugers ever marked as such. The pistol is all matching numbers, including the grips. The magazine matches with both factory serial and Nortsee property number. There’s finish loss on the sideplate, muzzle, back strap and bottom of front strap, as well as right side of barrel. The holster is 1933 dated with the rare Kriegsmarine Eagle/M marking. It’s in excellent condition with crisp markings. Bore has strong rifling but frost throughout. Rig also includes a spare wartime magazine and a WaA63 proofed tool.
